ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - Saturday 14^th March 2009

At the Annual General Meeting the Management Committee must stand for election. Under the Rules of the Club the Management Committee has three officers and six additional members.

The present Committee comprises:

Chairman - Jonathan Isaacs

Treasurer - Jim Mortell

Secretary - Brian Kitching

Christine Constable

Alan Cottle

Daphne Gaittey

Ken Mason

Alan Theobald

Peter Yates

and David Gaitley who serves as a co-opted member.

All of the above, save for Brian Kitching, are willing to stand for election

Nominations for the Management Committee are invited, which must reach the Secretary by no later than 28^th February 2009. Each nominee must be proposed and seconded by full members and be accompanied by confirmation that the nominee is willing to stand. If more than the required number of nominations is received elections at the AGM will be by secret ballot.

The Management Committee has overall responsibility for the Club, including

Competitions & Tournaments

Coaching

Catering

Fund Raising

Membership & Subscriptions

Publicity & Marketing

Full members may submit items for the Agenda. These should be sent to the Secretary as soon as possible and not later than 28^th February 2009.
